Police of Poltava opened three criminal proceedings on the facts of damage to the memorial tables of ATO soldiers

On April 5, about 4th, 6th and 7th hours, messages from local residents were reported to the police of the city of Poltava about the damage of the memorial tables of the ATO soldiers.  During the departure to the scene the investigative and operational Group set three facts of table damage.

In particular, the damaged memorial table, which was set by the Myroslav Kabul on the wall of school No. 18, is a memorial table that was established by Sergei Limars on the school wall No. 9, and there was an attempt to damage the board, which installed Alexander Gorachevsky on the wall of school # 25, but the board proved to be vandal 

According to all these facts in the department No1 of Police Poltava open criminal proceedings under the qualifying signs of Part 2 of article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (desecration or destruction of a monument erected in memory of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and took direct part in the anti-terrorist operation). Sanction article provides restriction or deprivation of liberty for a period from 3-х to 5 years. Investigative actions are currently underway.
