Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Îlexander Razumkov said that some MPs plan to challenge the "Antickolommoysky" law in the Constitutional Court.
According to the Razumkov, in the case of its adoption the deputies "not from the monomajority" plan to appeal the bill in the second reading.
"There are already statements of our colleagues from other political factions and groups not monomajority stating that they will refer to the Constitutional Court if this law is enacted. It's their right. All within the law, "said the politician in an interview with the RBC-Ukraine publication.
The politician added that he also had "got questions" to the bill on banks. At this, Îlexander Razumkov stressed that it is too early to talk about the constitutionality or unconstitutionality of this draft law. According to him, it is necessary to look at the amendment table, which will be offered before the draft law.
It should be recalled that according to the Chairman of the Finance Committee Danylo Hetmantseva, the Parliament can adopt the "anti-Kolommoysky" bill for one to two weeks.
The adoption of the "anti-Kolommoysky" Bill is the main condition for obtaining Ukraine's new IMF program. If the bill is approved, Ukraine can count on the first $2 billion tranche of the International Monetary Fund in late May.
