"The National Bank of Ukraine has optimized the procedure for transferring funds to employees ' wages by the employer," the report reads.
As stated in the statement, after the introduction of the International bank account number in Ukraine, the employer will be able to form a statement on crediting salary to employees with indication of the account number of the employee according to the IBAN standard, including the account, which he himself opened in the bank.
"Such innovation will avoid conflicts between employer and employee about the employee's right to choose the bank for salary", — noted in the statement.
"An employee, not an employer, must choose the bank independently, which will serve his account. This right is stipulated by the Law on labor remuneration and we want it to be truly implemented in practice.
