Investigators of the main investigative department of the State Bureau of Investigation started pre-trial investigation of the facts of improper performance of the State Customs Service of Ukraine of their official duties, which led to serious consequences (H. 2 tbsp. 376 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to preliminary information, officials of the State Customs Service of Ukraine did not take appropriate measures to prohibit the export of anti-epidemic goods, which caused severe consequences to the interests of the State. These goods were transported to enterprises registered in Portugal and the Czech Republic.
Procedural guidance pre-trial the investigation into criminal proceedings carried out by the Prosecutors Office of the Prosecutor General.
In the case of proof of guilt, officials is threatened with imprisonment for a period of 2 to 5 years with deprivation of the right to hugging certain posts or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years and with a fine of 250 to 750 nontaxable lows income Citizens.
