The interaction of the state bodies in the assets search helps to fortify the fight against corruption and resolves problems within the management of seized property. It was stressed by the Director of the Lviv Territorial Office of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Taras Lopushanskiy and representatives of the West Interregional Territorial Department of the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) during the meeting on July 3, 2020.
“ARMA activities in finding money, funds, other property provides the conditions for the further compensation of damage caused by the corruption offenses. Therefore, the cooperation of state institutions contributes to strengthening the fight against corruption not only in Ukraine but also abroad, where the property of suspects in top corruption is usually located,” Taras Lopushanskiy said during the meeting.
In addition, the participants discussed the management peculiarities of the integral property complexes of the combined heat and power plants (CHP) of Novyj Rozdil and of Novoyavorivsk. The objects were transferred to ARMA by the decision of the Solomyansky District Court of Kyiv.
