Under the procedural guidance of the Slavic local prosecutor's office, the head of the Education Department of the Slaviansk City Council reported suspicion of an official negligence that caused severe consequences (H. 2 tbsp. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation found that during 2017-2018 the head of the Department of Education, being the head of the tender Committee, concluded 6 agreements on heat energy supply to educational establishments of M. Slavic in the total amount of 17.7 million UAH, not taking into account the difference in tariffs established for enterprises that produce it from natural gas and from alternative sources.
According to the conclusions of the Commission's forensic and economic examination, as a result of an unfair attitude public official to the official duties on the accounts of 3 enterprises-suppliers, the budget funds in the amount exceeding UAH 8.5 million are unreasonably transferred.
Now the pre-trial investigation is underway. The issue of electing the suspect measure of the restraint event and removal from the position is solved.
Recall, in accordance with art. 62 The Constitution of Ukraine shall be deemed innocent in the committing crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proved in lawful order and established by the guilty verdict of the court.
